Never had a problem not using my middle (or so called "second") name (as stated in the passport) on SQ. Also going without any middle/second names on my profile as well as in the bookings. For SQ bookings they usually add the second name during check-in/boarding and I never had problems with mileage credit. For all other airlines they usually don't care
