Timeline should be the following

- Flight from LHR (BA227) left over 1h late due to mechanical issues
- Flight circled for 30-45 min near ATL airport due to storm
- On the ground in ATL the aircraft was delayed 30minutes further due to delay in loading cargo (departure 0.35, however incoming flight landed around 22.00)
- I would have made my connecting flight had BAs system not “bumped me” (arrived at gate at 13.56 with a 14.25 connection, even though I was at T5 security at 14.06).

Thanks again
Sadly too far out to look at properly but I can see the weather reports from ATL and there would have been delays inbound had the BA227 arrived on time, albeit that would have been an hour sooner. On arrival the weather was no longer an issue so this is purely down to a loading delay and reactionary delay. BA will of course claim weather but based on what you are already aware of you could certainly go ahead and utilise CEDR. You did miss conformance but may very well have been proactively re booked by the WNS contractor team in Mumbai whilst in the air. Did you have any emails or text messages time stamped from between taking off and scanning your BP at flight connections? The loading delay seems to be the critical issue as to why you missed conformance as the legs report will no doubt show a reactionary delay due to the late BA227 and then a loading delay on top.
