I'm about the same and am soooooo torn. IIRC, the 50K bonus miles upon reaching 75K are worth about $800 in fares for my freeloading wife/kids. Then, there's the added bonus miles as a 75K vs. Gold. But my biggest thing is booking directly into PC. That is REALLY nice.

To reach 75K I'll have to to take two extra short trips from Maui to Portland. It's great to get back since I have friends/family but it pisses off the wife here so when I factor in the potential divorce? Well, like I said, I'm torn Has anyone ever traded a marriage for airline status?
