Interesting MCO route

As I am sure it won't be of use to MOST people, I thought I would post a trip I have next month. I have to do ATL-MCO-ATL for a wedding. I am also having a procedure done on my back while there.

Anyways, I used up my remaining credits on FL for my wife and I to get down there.

For the return, she is heading home a week before me as I have to recoup from the back procedure. So on my trip home, I wondered what my possible routings would be for MCO-ATL. MCO-ATL prices at $77 direct for the day I need to fly. For $91, I am flying MCO-TLH-TPA-ATL. The first two segments are on puddle jumpers, but 30-45 min flight ea is no biggie. The flight from TPA-ATL is on a 762. So, I should clear the UPG as a GM with a mid-day flight.

So, I am getting 1500 MQM for roughly $15 more. Granted it will take a bit longer, but I will enjoy the CRC in TPA and get home about the time I needed to anyways.

So, thanks ITA and DL.
