It’s just 4X on Hyatt purchases, not 1X + 4x, no?

Of course, Hyatt/Chase try to confuse confuse their guests/customers by calling them “bonus points” - implying the 4x is a bonus on top of regular earnings when it really isn’t.

Oh, and now they trick you into thinking it’s even 9X.
