Agree with the reviews but I had a bit of an issue a few days ago on my last stay. The remote for the toilet wasn't working (turned out to be batteries) and the wheels that held the bathroom door on the track were broken.

I reported it at 10:15am as I left my room for the day and it hadn't been fixed by the time I got back after 11pm.

It's a pain to flush the toilet without the remote (if you even notice the buttons). Maintenance came up and fixed the batteries but I didn't even mention the door again. He said that there were at least 2 people on all day and only 1 person at night but it felt like he was doing a lot more work and wasn't sure what they did all day. I would have to agree.

As an added point, my room was made up during the day. How would they not notice that the remote wasn't flushing the toilet and that it didn't work? If they did why wasn't it reported and dealt with?

Got some compensation at the end of the stay but was dissapointed that the FD manager didn't even realize what you could and couldn't do without the remote on those toilets. She basically admitted to never having inspected those rooms.

To answer l380 my next stay in a week or so is at the Sheraton which I've heard is newly renovated so I'm looking forward to seeing what the rooms look and feel like (even if I'm going to miss the toilets at the Marriott).
