Looks like I am going to be at 1185 status points after my flights during Xmas holidays post. I then have a HKG-XMN flight on 30 Dec, which will earn 15 status points and take me exactly to 1200, AS LONG AS THE FLIGHT POSTS BY 31 DEC. So far, CX flights have consistently (90%+) posted the day after my actual flight, but there has been the odd occasion that the flight posts T+2.

If my flight posts only on 01 Jan 2024, does anyone have experience whether I could request CX to use the actual FLIGHT DATE (instead of CREDIT DATE) for the purpose of calculating my 2023 Status Points?

On the other hand, I do have a bunch of flights taken in Q3 and Q4 of 2023, which I plan to retroactively claim in 2024 and then apply to 2024 membership year. I could just claim one of those in 2023 instead, but that would be 20 Status Points. I would then be "wasting" 5 Status Points, since those do not carry over to 2024.
