I would recommend the IC San Diego first and foremost if you don’t mind spending a little more. Yeah the amenity fee is crap, but you do get a $20 credit per day at Vistal (the lobby restaurant) and having Ambassador Status I’m guessing you’d do pretty well with all the other perks if your able to take advantage of them. The lounge at the IC in San Diego is a real jewel in my opinion. Well staffed great bfast, evening appetizers, drinks, and phenomenal staff!! I have stayed at the Indigo Gaslamp a few times. It’s nice and I always get upgraded to a nice room with a view of the ballpark or something. Overall, I’d book the IC if you can swing it. Just my two cents. Have fun!
