I was pleased I didn’t end up wearing any of them that’s for sure! A lot of mustard and relish ends up in the packaging, but they put so much on there is still enough.

I must confess to only having been to Portillo’s — although I did go daily when I visited Chicago!

Definitely recommend trying them! I will say Chicago dogs are special but one at a sporting event is always great.

I've only had hotdogs in the US were in NYC, at Shake Shack (pretty good) and Nathan's (a massive disappointment, even correcting for the name factor).
In my city of origin there's a "food truck" (horse trailer actually) that do excellent hotdogs, they have some classics and always seasonal specials. I try to visit them when I can... Nothing of the sort where I am at now. Truthfully the food scene out here leaves a lot to be desired.
Definitely think Chicago Hot Dogs are an underrated star, although deep dish is really good to!

Every Lufthansa lounge should have pretzels and every UA ORD lounge should bring the Hot Dogs back! Kirby would love their unit costs.

I enjoy a Costco hot dog but a Chicago one is a totally different (and better) beast.
