The COVID pandemic has played havoc with the original retirement plans of the A319 fleet. Therefore, it would seem logical to me that surplus A319's could be parachuted into EFL to fill any gaps, provided, of course, that there is crew to man them. I am assuming that a crew recruitment programme will be operating over the winter months so in theory, that should not be a problem but who knows.
