So, it turns out it was legitimate, and sought to address my complaint from earlier this year, July. But, in a continuation of thread hijack, the offer was not acceptable. In short, two of four pax downgraded from PE to WT, apparently they are going to "work out whether you’re (I'm) due any refund" for fare difference, and an evoucher of £150 for splitting a family up (the two in PE were rows and seats apart, inc 10yo child on his own). No mention of UK261 compensation, 75% of fare paid, presumably just for that one leg. Meh. I've rejected the offer.
