On a recent AA international flight, when collecting my luggage for inspection in the US, I noticed that a yellow AA Standby tag had been attached to my bag. I hadn't flown standby, though.

The tag had 'Name' and 'Classification' blanks on it. The 'Classification' field was left blank, but the 'Name' field did not have my name in it, only the words "OK to bulk."

What could be going on here? I wonder if this is not some sort of code speak to mean that this suitcase belongs on some new super.-secret terrorist watch list program.
