Thanks for the feedback. I don't mind paying a premium if it's reasonable and worth it. I had thought about it. The rooms don't seem that much better, so I'd just be doing for the lounge and I do like lounges. :-)

​​​​​​The rooms are $100+ more per night (plus $30 per night higher "amenity fee" scam). If it was just me and the wife, I'd probably do it. But there are two others in my party. I only have lounge access for 2 and it's $75 per person per day for the other 2.

If I'm paying for 1 room and using points for the second, then I'm paying almost $300 per night more. If I'm doing it just for the lounge, then I realized I could stay elsewhere and buy a lot of drinks and appetizers for 4 every day for a lot less.
