for me (based on my usage). I probably redeem 50k points a year, so Select gives me 5k back. I've used the 4th night free twice, which saved me maybe 30k points. Over time, they are a wash to me. Of course, I understand some get more value out of one or the other benefit depending on their usage.
This does remind me to consider a big redemption before dumping Select, for one last 10% back.
Can someone remind me, do you get the 10% on points deduction, or only after the stay?
