I have a business flight booked direct with United from Las Vegas to Los Angeles and then business flight from Los Angeles to Auckland booked direct with AIRNZ, I am wondering can united through star alliance check my bags all the way through from LAS to AKL. We arrive into LAX at 12pm and our flight isn't until later that night so don't want to have to pickup bags and wait for check in to open and would rather go direct to the lounge at LAX and wait?
