Flew with Air Transat in Canada a few months back on an internationnal flight. Had no checked bag, only carry on. Checked in online and got an online boarding pass; but the wife was stressed and wanted to go to the counter to make sure. We ended up being at the counter a good 20 minutes juste to get a paper boarding pass.

Whats the benefit of online checkin when you need to go to the counter anyways ?
