It seems that there is a lot of O/D demand for daytime flights from EWR to continental Europe. As was discussed here, at the moment no one is offering daytime flights to CDG, FRA, or AMS.
Question: Might it make sense for UA to offer EWR-CDG dp 8:30 am arriving 9:30 pm? This is doable, despite the additional hour change in the time zone.
As others have stated, I find it much easier to adjust to the change in time zones when arriving at my hotel around 10 or 11 pm European time. I wait a few hours to go to bed, wake up around 10 am their time the next day and then I am good to go.
The red-eye flights are tough, even in business class, because in most cases the flight time does not coincide with normal sleeping hours on this side of the Atlantic.
