But just removing PFL and in effect removing a surplus of 2000+ XPs in people's accounts would be quite a bad move. One that could lead to loss of a decent number of loyal flyers; but then, maybe the contribution of these loyal flyers is something AFKL doesn't need/want.
I have always been very surprised about excessive flying behaviour when the double XPs were introduced: some people started flying like P4L statuses were granted on the spot in 2020, while, in fact:
-the requirements for P4L have always been 10 years in row as a platinum - it was never related to any number of XPs
-the program had changed entirely only in 2018. How could one expect no future changes in 2020, when Flying Blue had introduced the current system introduced only 2 years before?

My standpoint, at least for KL, is still the same: if you want any particular benefits from this airline: find a husband/spouse that works at KL. You'll get recognized from day 1, no 10 years wait, and it's guaranteed until your last breath.

But let's move the rumour discussions to an approporiate thread, unless it's ultimate-related.
