After booking, the flight was on the Qatar Airways app and we paid for seats thru the app. We got the Chase confirmation email with record locator numbers, but nothing from QA with a “booking reference number”. I emailed them back the number from the Chase email and also a 6-digit number next to the actual charge on my Chase statement. Just didn’t know if there was another way to find that. Since the flight was canceled, it no longer shows on the QA app as a current flight or previous activity.
Understood. They definitely owe you a full refund. You can always go the route of disputing the charges but I hope it doesn't have to come to that.
