I received an offer for a flight from DOH to MLE 12 days prior to the departure, priced at 1,386 USD for 2 passengers from O to J. It appears to be operated on an ex-CX plane (there are Comfort+ seats available), and the business class seems to have plenty of empty seats at the moment.

For a flight under 5 hours, I'll pass.
