in J yes you could use a GUF2 and 2xGUF1 for 4 people if there is reward or I class. If there isn’t you can combine with a joker to use D class.
So if I understand correctly - the GUF requires a certain fare bucket (i.e. A in FIRST), the joker opens the base fare/availability. So to GUF2 from J to F with no Avios availability in J, you need 4x A class in FIRST to do it. Can the joker can open any fare bucket in J or is just more likely there are more I fares available?
If just use joker direct for F then need A class anyway - you can't open F. Also miles might be less going direct for F so don't need to use GUF2 anyway.
