I mean, realistically if BA can continue to offer a subpar product, but you keep giving them your money and booking them anyhow, what do you suppose would be their motivation to improve things?

First of all of course customers are playing a part of this but for me it’s more about the whole picture. BA loves to be promoted as a premium airline but some times the only premium they have is the price of the ticket. As you asked me, I was silver for many years and the only treason I became gold was the amazing fare to HNL in 2019. This year I will become gold again with the £500 fare to the USA. 90% of my premium flying with BA is due to the “new staff” messing up the prices

. But on the other hand i wouldn’t pay more than what other airlines are asking for and many times they are much cheaper. Especially now with the new avios calculation system. Not to mention that Heathrow is rationing the slots. Another reason why BA planes tend to be full.
