They must have a ton of cardholders with multiple Additional Cardholders (that’s why they increased the price in the first place), and having multiple with different signup dates can’t be that uncommon, so they must have thought through this. Shocking that the customer service agents don’t have a valid explanation/solution. Then again, it just confirms my impression of how Amex CS is doing in recent years.
