I can go to all my trips online and there is an option to purchase the miles multiplier for each. I clicked through one of them and there is a screen to choose your payment method and it doesn't need to the same as how you paid for the ticket.

I've never done it al the way through, so I don't know if it'll code correctly to trigger the credit. I do know wifi plans trigger it as well as AC day passes and purchases at AC.
