Well..so according to the rep, it doesn't matter when the previous fee was paid. As of the Aug changes it now is based on when the card member card was added. So because I added AU #1 back in Sept of 2016, thats their anniversay date now... The AU added in March will now renew then. The $175 paid in Spring of 2023 doesn't matter for the Sept AU. 🙄 I get the feeling there will be a lot of very interested AGs in the future. I was offered 2k MR as a consolation prize after pushing the topic hard.
Seems like a bug. If they don’t fix it, I would submit a complaint with the CFPB.
