That's what I am seeing. Numerous travel blogs giving the wrong oppression. So for the benefit of anyone interested, I can assure you that the chauffeur (and I know several of them) is paid a very low rate for each job. He is required to keep the car in excellent condition at all times as well as ensure the customer receives the best possible experience. Gratuities are at the discretion of the client but will always be a very welcome and important part of the chauffeurs income.
