Interesting articles contrasting one carrier starting their journey in Chapter 11 land and another ready to pull out of it.
Aloha laid off 10 pilots that were called back, but now let go because of AQ's cancellation of its South Pacific routes. This is on top of the many wage cuts AQ pilots have taken to save their company money.
Hawaiian on the other hand has now negotiated with 3 of their 6 unions. Pilots, flight attendants and computer engineers are the three their working with, which makes me believe the January date of coming out of Chapter 11 was set a bit prematurely.
