Whatever you do, leave at extra day at least between important flights. I just had Qantas cancel the first leg of my RTW ticket (paid, in Business) causing me a lot of stress. Honestly, done again I would not fly Qantas for any leg. Lufthanza have relatively good value RTW tickets - perhaps it might be easier just to pay for one?
Thanks - good to know. We were generally going to have at least a week between major flights. Depending how we go, might have to end up just paying for RTW tickets - seems a pity not to use the points when we have them though (not to mention the cost savings).
