I am sure that this is not your intention so perhaps we could leave the price of a P ticket out of the discussion. Rude behaviour by a lounge manager is just as reprehensible whether you travelled for free, paid 1 eurocent for your ticket or an astronomical amount.
As to talking about "AF apologists", I am not sure that it is warranted about posters who are more often than not rather critical of various aspect of AF service. In any event, I do not think that much is gained by using such inflammatory language. This happens on other forums. We have tended to avoid that on the AFKL board. It would be good if we could continue to do so.
It looks like I struck a cord here. 😀
I agree with you about the price of the ticket. I mentioned it as an answer to some of what I call AF apologists
They seemed to imply that the OP, not being an AF FF, flying on foreign miles, was therefore not even worth an apology from AF (which he eventually got. Kudos to AF for that), the blame resting entirely on the OP and LH.
I could sense the rather contemptuous attitude of some of the posters "the OP is not part of the gang. He does not belong to our club". I could read through the lines that the OP was looked down upon and I felt it was wrong.
You cannot deny that the OP was accused, or let's say suspected, of not having behaved properly. Of having overreacted.
Or, I got it: of having lacked class, as one should not in Lah Premiere lounge (pronounced as if one had a hot potato in the month to emphasise the exclusivity of the club).
The unacceptable behaviour of the lounge manager was somehow justified by the supposed OP's attitude who did not show enough restraint, as one should when one is a legitimate and regular at Lah Premiere lounge.
I know the codes. No need for an Enigma device to read between the lines.
Does it make sense?
