CDG has better lounges than AMS.

The food at the Crown Lounges was slightly worse than canteen quality back in April, and based on what I'm reading in the other threads, has only gotten worse since then. As if that was possible.

The focus of AF/KLM is clearly not on their intra-Europe J product, which they treat as kind of a "holdover" for J passengers en correspondance from intercontinental flights. Probably only the ME3 and Asian airlines do a proper intra-regional J product ; I remembered being served a full dim-sum breakfast on the short hop from HKG to TPE on CX, along with newspapers and being acknowledged by name. And that was an operational op-up to J due to a cancellation.
