Normally it's transfered near instantly, but I called Amex after waiting for an hour. The rep told me this, and the transfer request isn't even supposed to be accepted. The points from my MR deducted immediately, although I haven't received any confirmation emails. Really annoying since I was going to book a last remaining seat, hopefully I'll get pts transferred and will be able to book tonight.
