Good outcome and clear recognition by AF — as it should — that it (due to the rude behavior of an employee) was wrong. Glad you pushed this.

Disappointing to see the posts here blaming the passenger, fabricating facts about what happened, implying the OP is lying, arguing that because it’s a miles ticket it’s Ok, because it’s an LH ticket it’s ok, because LH isn’t paying much (WRONG) it’s ok, excusing AF just for the hell of it or all of the above.

Maybe they think that this couldn’t be them…guess what, it could. But none of that matters. There’s right & wrong and LPL staff must be courteous and professional (unless they were attacked, verbally or physically, by the pax first — for which there was zero evidence and the response from AF is consistent with that—unless of course this entire thread is a lie in which case just say you don’t believe the op and move on) REGARDLESS of all the details. You don’t berate and humiliate a passenger in a first class lounge and essentially make him look like a crook. NO EXCUSES.
