Would United Airlines reward program be the best for earning points, to then transfer to Philippines Airlines (Mabuhay Points)?

I often fly Star Alliance, so Star Alliance points would be quite useful.

I'm just not sure how easy it is to transfer between Star Alliance partners.

Would United Airlines points be the easiest for redeeming Philippines Airlines points, and lets say other Star Alliance flights, like LOT Polish Airlines, Turkish Airlines, ANA, etc?

(In terms of credit cards, looks like the Chase Sapphire Preferred and United Explorer Card would be best for earning these points, if that's the case, open to suggestions though).
