In the past it used to take 45 days after you paid the annual fee for the travel credit to be available
I am not sure now if the rebate for credit is available at once or after the annual fee is paid

Flight credit was available on anniversary date of card mid September, even though annual fee did not post till statement date later in the month. Paid $150 for a $450 ticket using the credit, a pleasant difference from last year even before the fee posted. 10000 bonus miles posted mid October.
Not sure how this works on a new card, but very civilized on renewal.
