I fully understand that the OP was very stressed, as he himself acknowledges, and angry by the turn of events: Having a flight cancelled by LH, spending hours on the phone to be rebooked on AF, then being told (rightly) by AF staff that his ticket was in J and that he did not belong to LP lounge.
I assume that the lounge manager told him calmly, but that the OP outbursts and refusing to leave meant that the lounge manager had to advise the staff.
Again, I completely understand why the OP lost his composure at that point and maybe I would have done the same given the chain of events.
But launching a sustained attack on the lounge manager after the flight might be a bit of an overkill as the guilty party seems LH.
You will see from my posts in this thread that I am more than happy to take on constructive criticism and put my hands up where I was wrong.

In this case however, I just had to say something. If the lounge manager came over in a calm tone, then none of this would have happened. If the lounge manager and come over in a calm tone and asked if we could have a private conversation, none of this would have happened.

There was no outburst by me as I was utterly disgusted and speechless about how he decided to deal with the conversation. During the interaction in the middle of the lounge, I asked him no less than 4 times if he could please stop taking to me and my wife like this and if we could please have this conversation privately, not in the middle of the lounge.

He had no interest at trying to fix the issue and simply wanted me gone.

Was I stressed? Definitely. Was I upset? For sure! Angry? Hell yeah! However I know I acted extremely well given the circumstances and feel all things considered that I kept my composure. There’s no point at me shouting or having an outburst at someone like that. Ultimately I wanted the issue to be resolved and I think the fact it was had been down to how I dealt with this situation.

As for the ‘informing staff’ (if you are referring to the fact we were avoided and not offered any drinks) this only happened once we had our tickets confirmed in LP with new BPs in hand.

If you get to fly LP all the time, then good for you. For me, flying LH F or even AF F was a first and something I doubt I’ll get to do again, so I have the right to be angry. As for launching a sustained attack? I cannot be held responsible for what others have said in this thread. I apologise to anyone if this seems like a targeted attack. I do agree that some things said here are a bit much.

Of course you’re entitled to your own opinion and that’s fine. We don’t have to all agree.

As for the guilty party being LH? I agree. They created this situation by their ticketing mistake, but the unprofessionalism of the AF lounge manager and the faulty seat is not a LH problem.
