I called because I messed up and lost one of our seats (change from A320 to CRJ900) when I want to change from aisle across from each other to sit next to each other (since there was no middle seat). Told all seat assignments are now charged even if ticketed before the introduction of the charge. Agent also said there was no change to the flight (really? Mainline SK to Xfly? She said it was Xfly the entire time. I think the website is pretty weak. It should not have ever given up my original seat by the time I decided not to pay and closed the seat window.

Hung up and called again. This agent said there is no way for her to see the history of the flight except number / date / time etc (none of those changed). Not equipment or operating carrier. She reserved the seat and says there is a waiver code in my reservation that means they will not try to charge me later.

Night and day difference between the two agents.
