Data Point Flying out of AMS on GUC:

On 10.25, my wife and I were flying BCN to AMS to SLC. The AMS to SLC was on Delta. We used GUC to upgrade to PS on AMS to SLC. At about 30 hours out (check in time for KLM) I got an e-mail asking to select our meals. Curious, I looked at our reservation and noticed we cleared to Delta One (OX booking code). I was shocked. I've never read a report on this board about automatically clearing a GUC upgrade to Delta One out of AMS at checkin (I have read some reports of you helping a KLM agent at the gate realize this is permitted).

I was tracking the flight and noticed the flight was J6, Z4 -- so I believe there was the correct inventory (Z) to clear at 24 hours.

Maybe this was a glitch. Or maybe the coding as made it to KLM (and Air France?) for Delta One 24 upgrades using a GUC to clear at checkin out of AMS and CDG if Z is available.
