Fantasy Springs at Tokyo Disney Sea

The new attraction, Fantasy Springs will open at Tokyo Disney Sea on June 6, 2024. Besides the admission to Tokyo Disney Sea, visitors need a standby pass (free) for attractions in Fantasy Springs or Disney Premier Access (fee) for admission to Fantasy Springs.

I am not a Disney person. I have been to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA, and Disney World in Orlando, FL but have never been to Tokyo Disneyland. But anything happening at Tokyo Disneyland is a big deal for Japan. When inbound tourists (non-Japanese tourists) statistic is taken by prefectures in Japan, Tokyo prefecture is the most visited prefecture in Japan by inbound tourists. Followed by Osaka prefecture as the no. 2. Then the no. 3 most visited prefectures in Japan by inbound tourists is Chiba prefecture. Yes, Narita Airport is located in Chiba prefecture and contributes to inbound tourists visiting Chiba such as Narita-san Shinsho-ji temple. But the biggest contributor to Chiba prefecture is Tokyo Disneyland. Tokyo Disneyland is located in the city of Urayasu (town of Maihama) in Chiba prefecture. Thanks to Tokyo Disneyland, Chiba prefecture ranks in no. 3 as the most visited prefecture in Japan by inbound tourists.

Additional information, Kyoto prefecture ranks as no. 4 for most visited prefecture in Japan by inbound toruist, after no. 3 Chiba prefecture. Kochi prefecture ranks at the dead last no. 48, the least visited prefecture in Japan by inbound tourists.
