I need some advice... Booked TK from IST to DLM a separate domestic connection to follow our MIA - LHR - IST flight with BA (separate tickets). Just received a notification that our IST - DLM flight has had a schedule change and it is now 1h30min earlier, giving us just 1h40min between the scheduled arrival time of our LHR flight and the departure of our DLM flight. We will have baggage that we will need to collect and check in. We will of course do online check in and have boarding passes. I know that we can make this if our arrival flight is not delayed but if we don't make it to drop off our luggage, what happens if we just turn up at the gate with our full sized luggage? Would they just check these in for us as we will have checked luggage allowance? Can we just not waste time trying to check luggage in and go straight to our gate? Ideally I would choose a later flight but this is the last flight that day so rejecting the new flight would mean having to spend the night in IST which I don't want to do after a whole day of travelling, and neither do I want to travel to SAW for a later flight if it can be helped...
