Be aware that LUMO trains has, and enforces, a rather restrictive baggage policy. Other trains and the tube generally don't care how much you bring as long as you can manage it yourself. With larger bags you may have to store them out of your sight in luggage racks.

Personally I've been lucky and whenever I've brought a big bag I was able to put it next to me as the trains were not busy.
