+ 1, same modus operandi so to say. Especially points bookings I even reserve night by night to allow for flexibility. I must have rebooked Indigo Hakone 10 times so far to save a few K points here and there, haha. For paid rates, I check every other week or so, but often our corporate rate is well below any offered flexible rates so it is less likely to yield an improvement unless a true super sale comes along or so. YMMV.
