Hope this is not derailing the thread too much but thank you so much for this recommendation. I got a reservation through the IC Tokyo Bay concierge for my brother and I and we could not have been happier with our choice.
A great mix of refined but not uptight, owner speaks enough English to make the evening interactive (which we enjoyed tremendously). Not a sushi expert by any stretch but this was, by far, the best omakase experience of my life. Never had salt water eel before, and you now you are in for a treat when the first side dish (eggplant and gluten) is a home run.

Nigiri-only option is around Y20,000, full omakase with otsumami is Y27,000. Not sure if the nigiri-only option is offered at dinner; it might be lunch only. During my visit, it was all locals, including a French woman who had lived in Tokyo for 30 years. The rest of the customers were Japanese. The restaurant does get some foreign customers, but not as many as other places. Not being in the red guide helps...
