Isn't that how it works between airlines in these situations? I doubt LH pays the full commercial fare, let alone forking out more than 10k for a last minute ticket that was booked with Avianca miles.
This is once again irrelevant to the case.
The issue is the manager's attitude. Back office issues must be dealt with where they belong : back in the office. And not insult a good faith P lounge visitor.
