First experience renting a Tesla from Hertz in HNL. Reserved a Model 3 SR and received a Model 3 Performance. QR Code showed up on the screen and was able to use the Tesla app and then use the phone as a key which came in handy to pre-cool the car when we were out. One warning though is that if you use valet parking, the Tesla app access will likely be removed from the car when the valet uses the card key to unlock the car (see screenshot below). We had to scan the QR code every time we got the car back from valet.
