if you use the Avianca app , input your lifemiles number (not AP number) and either the ac flight reference number or the ticket number it should work - or it least it has for me on the 3 flights I've taken this year ... if you want AP credit you can just have check in agent change it before flight . The problem I'm having now is that when I try to check in (both in the app and on the web page) all that it shows are my past segments in this reservation, but not the future ones, so I cannot check in.
