It's great that WS wants to funnel traffic via YYC but the trans border connection fiasco is worst in class. YVR - PHX a couple weeks ago and without NEXUS we would have definitely missed the connection. It's not worth the hassle.
Although, the extension of so many non-YYC transborder routes is also not funnelling traffic to YYC.
It'd certainly be interesting if these extended year-round, which would be a big improvement for YQR (currently no summer transborder or international service at all)
If you're not a fan of YYC transborder clearance, you can now take one of the extended YXE, YQR, or YHM routes and clear the border in the US instead haha
