About carry on weighing: it's a COMMON practice for TK, every time my carryon has to be weighted.

About the CC: I was TOLD very clearly about this when I paid for my award tickets. I wasn't checked but many years ago RJ at HKG checked our card (we booked the tickets a long time before that and we have cancelled that card - fortunately we took a picture of the credit card and the check-in accepted that). Once my mum flew from HKG and my dad used his card to pay for her ticket and he didn't bring his card and they didn't have enough time to go home and find the card so they bought a new ticket for her.

I don't want to go into the details here since it's not related to TK, but I can assure you that your experience is not comparable to my check-in experience with Egypt Air at Toronto Airport.
