The T&Cs for Gold and Platinum members guesting into lounges includes "Passengers will not be granted access to Premium Lounges unless they hold a Premium Ticket". And for using the guest vouchers includes "Access to Premium Lounges is granted upon presentation of a Premium Ticket".

If they are consistently allowing Y passengers in now despite these limitations it might help explain why the AM lounges are always so busy these days...
To be honest I've never had the opportunity to use one. If that's the case then I've been misunderstanding the benefit greatly - what is the benefit here anyway? If they already had J/F tickets then they wouldn't need guesting? So in reality all it does is get you a few more people in the FF lounges, not very appealing at all.
