By reading it sounds like son of pax was in Y and came into CE for most of the flight, sitting next to his mum. I wouldn't have an issue with that for a few min, but not for the whole duration of the flight (which is long from Greece). A matter for crew to sort though.
I think the BA flight was from London so it’s surprising there was an issue with fast track.
I’m guessing this was a Neo with no central console which allowed the seat to be occupied. I certainly would have complained about somebody being in the middle seat, since the extra space is a large part of the CE offer.
