Due to more and more flights being no longer available for sales on WE app/website, this impacts those who bought "Time to smile" package earlier this year (75,000 THB with validity until Dec 21, 2024). Assuming Jan 1, 2024 being the effective merger date,
- They "may or may not" refund the unused balance on Dec 31, 2023. In case of a refund issuance, no one knows yet which form (original form of payment or wire transfer or TG voucher).
- Unused upgrade to Premium Economy (package came with 5 one-way domestic upgrades) will most likely be forfeited.
- WE Prestidge status will also most likely be cancelled.
Let's see how this will eventually be handled. I will come back to this post to update the status as I hear more info.
